# 16 Mystery tool

January 15th, 2009

A few months ago I cleaned off my desk. In my life this is such a momentous occasion I wrote a blog about it, listing some of the items I found on my desk. One of the items I mentioned was a small package that I found under a pile of papers. It had been mailed to me and never opened. I had no idea what was in the box or how long it had been on my desk. Even opening the box and seeing what was inside didn’t help– since I had no idea what it was.

This is it. I still have no clue what it is or how I got it.

The worst part is that even after I had no idea what it was or why it was on my desk; even after I wrote the blog listing the stuff on my desk, I had no idea what to do with this tool. So guess what I did with it? Of course—I put it right back where it was.

I figure posting it here is the only way I’m ever going to find out what it is—and get it off my desk.

Darryle – I googled MXZ which is on the mystery tool in your photo and guess what? It’s a pocket saw which “cuts through anything” … “as advertised on television,” where, I’m guessing, you saw it and had to have it.

OK. I have NEVER, and I mean NEVER been in a situation where I needed a saw, but after seeing that infomercial (http://www.mxzsaw.com/) I must have that saw! LOL.
I’m sure someone must have thought that clearly you also had serious sawing needs and sent it to you!

I personally can use this…hubby and son are trying to build pens for beagles, chickens, goats etc…..they have tore up all of our saws. If this does cut thru anything, this is something they wont break!!

I forget a lot of stuff but I’m not so far gone yet that I would forget. I never order stuff on TV. If I ever found something on TV that was irresistible, it would NOT be a tool–but probably something chocolate.
Now that you googled this, it sounds more useful than I thought it was. Thanks.
