#2 UGGS clogs
My daughter is a vegetarian. All through high school she adamantly refused to wear anything made of leather. That made shoe shopping lots of fun. Everything had to be canvas—or plastic.
6 years since high school graduation, she’s still a vegetarian. But she’s changed her mind about lots of other things. Including leather. In fact, she’s now completely addicted to Uggs.
So I bought her this pair I saw on sale. But she won’t wear pink.
Since she changed her mind about leather, I figure she’ll also change her mind about pink. But I’m not sure I want to wait and save these for 6 more years.

I’ve never met her; we’ve never even talked on the phone. But she is the one who got this blog here, on time, for my official New Year’s resolution on January 1st. She worked on New Year’s Day to make that happen, and then she was the first person to comment. It feels like karma and it feels right.
So I think Shannon deserves not only my appreciation, but she also deserves these pink Uggs.

Reason to give it to me? I need a new pair and I will love them like you haven’t been able to do. The pink slippers I currently have would get a definite “toss” vote due to being worn out. My toes are cold – pick me!
I don’t want this personally, but you didn’t have a choice for donate to charity, which is what I think you should do with this. I’m sure a local thrift store could make a bit of cash on this.

I LOVE UGGS, TOO, but I also LOVE pink! Alli (my sister-in-law) brought half of her collection with her for this visit @ Christmas and I would love to have a pink pair so we could match. And I need slippers to keep my feet warm (we have turned the thermostat down to be more “green”).
I absolutely love them and if you cant give them to me I do recommend selling them on Ebay and make a portion of those certificates back.
Anything you have to ask about, should be donated. If you have to ask..its simply taking up space in your life.
When I go over to some folks houses, some that have all sorts of stuff, even if its neatly arranged, too much stuff just makes me wanna come home and do the armsweep on all the surfaces in my home. I love the feeling of an empty room, makes me wanna do yoga in the floor…
I think they look adorable and fun and comfortable. I never wear pink. I think it would be good for me to encourage my “feminine side” by lounging around in them. I think I’d work less and relax and induge more. They could be life changing. I guess I really need them!
love your blog! i think you should add another category – sell it. my husband and i recently did a clutter sweep of our closets and i am putting some of the stuff on ebay. it’s amazing what people will buy. i’ve already made about $100. the uggs are the perfect thing you could sell.
Darryle, I think these guards may actually be KNEE guards, for roller-blading or skate-boarding. If you turn the photo around, you can see the formation of knees.

At first I was going to suggest you bring them to Progressive Shoe repair next time you’re in Beverly Hills–my daughter whom you know very well–always has them dyeing her Pradas and other treasures so they could definitely become black UGGS for Alli, however, all the preceding comments were so sweet I think you should give them to someone to enjoy.

FYI these are clogs with wooden soles with a little heel, comfy but not slippers. Love all the comments and wish I had UGGS for everyone!!

Hi I went to Macy’s to buy these Pink Uggs, and they were sold out you had bought them and didn’t like them. I would love them. PINK is my favorite color, I had to settle for black ones at Target.!!! Thanks Linda
