HP Compact Photo Printer

April 5th, 2009

If you’ve seen the picture of my desk  ,  you can maybe get how this printer could have gotten lost  in the clutter.

It’s a relatively small printer.  But still it’s a relatively large thing to lose.  Especially on a desk.    To be fair it wasn’t actually ON the desk—it was NEAR my desk, where  I just found it recently.

Of course the receipt is also lost.  I got the printer for one of my kids but they don’t need it–and  neither do I.    Hopefully someone needs it—and will take it before I lose it again.

Prada: Pretty in Pink

Thanks to Cluttercast, it’s not hard anymore to let go of something;   the hard part is CHOOSING where to send it.    For the pink Prada bag, that meant either staying up all night agonizing or picking out of a hat.

So I chose sleep.  And I chose Monkey’s  Momma (out of a  hat  non-Prada bag) :   ”Pink is my favorite color! I would LOVE to have this purse!! Thanks for the chance to win!”

Obviously the random method has its benefits—-and its drawbacks—and I’m open to suggestions or feedback.

Delicate dishes from Japan:

Susan Laves:  I think that my mother would love them for mother’s day. When I was a small child, we lived for a time in Japan and I think that she would enjoy them.

The Peter Walsh organizing system is still open.   Meanwhile I guess no one’s interested in seeing her husband in a pair of tight baseball pants…..

Thanks to everyone for commenting and reading!!

Peter Walsh webcast: Welcome to my world

April 3rd, 2009

You could maybe consider me a “clutter expert.”  Which gives me something in common with another clutter expert: Peter Walsh.    Only our worlds of clutter are just a little different.

Peter is the go-to guy and the guru– for Oprah and many professional organizers.   Only a few hours ago he introduced a new line of products on a special webcast.   Free samples of his new office organizing system were shipped in advance  to people watching the webcast as a sneak preview—and they’re all excited about it.

Walsh’s system, designed for Office Max, isn’t even for sale yet.    The only place to get it right now…is right here.   How come?   Because my free samples are still IN the box.   Because I’m thinking OUT of the box.   Because in my world ,  any organizing system is too early in the game—or too late.

April 1st, 2009

Since I started Cluttercast, it feels as if clutter is my life.   At least lately.

I do have a life aside from clutter.  And part of it is blogging for the Huffington Post.

These two parts of my life combined today—- Cluttercast is featured on the Huffington Post Click here to read it.
