OMG! The cups would be just the thing for my friend and neighbor, Syd.  For his birthday, he received an espresso machine-and he has only one espresso cup to his name. These five cups would mean he can share coffee with guests, in style.

 Ginger:  I’m sending this on one condition: that you are the first guest Syd invites and that you send back a picture!

Bright and bold sweater:

I’m surprised no one asked for this—it is beautiful for someone bold enough to wear it.

Once or twice a year a  box used to arrive at our house from a Hollywood studio.  Inside would be an assortment of t-shirts or books and other items tied into the promotion of a new movie about to be released.  These care packages were always addressed to my son Daniel, sent by a family friend working at the studio.  Getting a new package was always fun for Daniel’s group of friends–not just seeing what was in the package, but he always shared whatever he got.

It was kind of like having a fairy godmother.  These shirts came from the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.  In Hollywood, fairy godmothers don’t deal with  glass slippers and pumpkins.
