Cluttercast: Great American Lodges

February 17th, 2009

This was a gift and it looks gorgeous—The list of legendary lodges covers the spectrum of America—from the Ahwahnee in California to Sundance, Utah to Bar Harbor, Maine. The package includes a cookbook with recipes and menus, national park lore, landscape art, traditional American music on a CD—everything needed to set the mood for lodge dining.

I never opened the package although I’ve been to some of these lodges. Maybe even eaten some of the dishes. But making the recipes myself? I’m not much of a cook. It’s never gonna happen. Hopefully someone else would appreciate the chance to get away—without leaving home.

If you would like to have this item, please let me know in a comment. If you know someone else who might like it, I hope you’ll share this and let them know.

    Hi Darryle,
I would be interested in having this package. Joe and I have an interest in the great lodges at the National Parks and hope to visit more of them in the future. We had a wonderful DVD about them and a lovely National Park book which was lost in the fire. I also do a project in my classroom about the parks. Also…you would not have to mail it. It would be fun to pick it up and actually see you in person! :-)
