It would be a real blessing to have even some of these books for our very active 4-year old son. We have an 8-year old daughter that has become a real bookworm and she reads all the time. She will read preschool books and her Pokemon and Fairy books to her 4-year old brother and he has picked up on her reading and loves to "read" books, making up stories as he looks at the pictures. We go to the library regularly to get books for both children, but our son would love to have some Matt Christopher books of his own.

Since I was laid off last August, we had to pull our son out of preschool since we could no longer afford it, so he is home with us all day now and he would love having these books to read and look through as we read to him.

Since most of the books we have in the house are girl themes like fairies that are his older sister's hand-me-downs, the Matt Christopher books would give our son something he could identify with. He loves to carry books and things with him around the house and he would be proud to have some of his own books like those you have offered.

Thanks,
Steve

I volunteer at an orphanage in Mexico. I help teach the kids English and life skills. There's a small library on site but very few English books for the kids to read and practice on their own. I would love to bring these books to the orphans and help them improve their English and keep them out of trouble when I can't be there!

Hi, these books would be a life saver in my house. My son and his family moved in with their 4 kids, 3 of which are very active boys and also love to read.Due to economic situation on him losing his job, we are looking for things for my grandsons to do..
These would be most welcome and a god send!

I have 2 boys, 8 and 7, who love to read and love sports...football, wrestling, soccer, baseball, basketball. We have read 1 of Matt Christopher's books but would love to read more. To help keep our bookshelves from overflowing...we pass our books on to the library or to the Heart of Iowa, which is a program for drug and alcohol addicted mothers. That way each of the children in the program with their mom has their very own book to read and help them through their current situation. Thanks for sharing with others! Stacie

I try so hard not to comment here, because I'm also trying very hard to declutter, but this...this I cannot pass up. My 7-year-old reads everything in sight. He would love these. Then they would be passed down to my 5-year-old and eventually my 3-year-old. Plus, I'm trying to increase their interest in actual (non video game) outdoor sports, so these would be perfect!

My boys, 9 & 7, would love these. They are at the age that they are looking for new books to read on their own and I hate to admit it, but I hate going to the library.

Thanks for the chance!
