Earbags

A week old and already these are clutter. Definitely the fastest turnaround time ever on this site.
Earbags. I couldn’t believe such a thing existed. They’re soft and rubbery and they snap around your ears and stay there. I thought they were so funny I wrote a whole post about them last week on my blog.
I didn’t care if they looked funny as long as they helped keep my ears warm at Obama’s inauguration.
Washington was freezing as expected. But the earbags never made it out of my suitcase. I bought an Obama hat and it kept my ears toasty even when I ended up walking from the inauguration all the way to the airport.
If I didn’t use the earbags on that trip, I never will. Although I stlll think they’re pretty funny–if you have the guts to wear them.
What do you think?

Having short hair leads to major issues of “hat head”. When I saw the ear bags on your blog I figured this could be the solution to my hat head. But what is worse…hat head or ear bags? If hat head is scarier…please pass them on. It is cold out here in NY!
I had hoped I didn’t offend you by commenting on your blog that these little gems may end up here. Now I’m chuckling to see them here so soon. That said, can’t you return them for the purchase price? You only bought them recently, right?
After reading your blog about the ear bags, I did notice, while watching the inauguration on TV, that quite a few people seemed to be wearing something like them. Obviously good for people who need to be out in the cold for hours either for sports or work.
Not a necessity for us on the California coast.
I know just the person that can pull off wearing the duck necklace! She works at Pebble Beach in the employee cafeteria. Her name is Linda and she is dear to us all. She drives a VW with over 300 ducks in it, not to mention all the ducky stuff attached to her car. She has duck everything, and when challenged with contests, well, guess the theme. Please give this one to her, I can’t even imagine anyone else so deserving. Thank you!
Just one person’s opinion—but I think you have to wear the earbags UNDER the hat–so that way you don’t get hat head OR ear bags–you get BOTH. But at least you’re warm.
Ooh, I wasn’t offended at all! I thought you had a great idea—and you aren’t the only one who predicted the earbags would end up here sooner or later. After spending a couple days shivering on the east coast, I figured sooner is the way to go.
