Swag Bag
I just got back from BlogHer in Chicago. It was my first time at a blogging conference and I discovered (kind of late in the game) that for some people, it’s all about swag—the free goodies from sponsors.
Some of the swag was pretty spectacular—at least that’s what I hear in the stories I read afterwards. I was there , but I never saw the “A” stuff up close. I was there for the “B” stuff: blogging.
I did learn some things about blogging—and about human nature—including mine. I gave away most of my swag; and shoved the rest into my suitcase so I could share it here. Except for one exception: I don’t share anything that’s chocolate.

I don’t want your swag bag but I did want to let you know that you made me laugh loudly when you said you don’t share anything with chocolate. I’m not sure why i laughed so hard but thanks!
I have to be honest. I wouldn’t have really wanted to go to BlogHer for a number of reasons. Too crowded mainly, but I’m also not really all that sociable in person, and I couldn’t stand to leave my babies that long.
I’ve been looking longingly at all the swag everyone came back home with though. That part would have been fun.
