Time for Mothers
Nothing means more to me than being a mother. I lost my own mom when she was 41. That’s probably why I have such fierce feelings about Mother’s Day. And that’s why I decided that this week I would post some items I thought would make nice Mother’s Day gifts.
This is a brand-new, never-worn, still-in-the-box Anne Klein watch. One of the things I like best is that it’s a mixture of gold and silver and works with anything you wear. It was a gift—and I can’t remember the giver or the occasion or even whether it was a gift for me or for my daughter. Which doesn’t really matter, since neither of us wears a watch anyway.

I would love to give this watch to my mother for Mother’s Day. I have no money to buy my mother anything due to my current situation trying to survive, pay my bills, and take care of my kids. I have had a series of unfortunate events happen to include losing my job, losing my house, and forced to go through a bankrupcy. I know that she will buy something and give to my boys to give to me for Mother’s Day, but one year I would like to get her something more than just a card or a simple gift. I would like to give her something she could wear and think about me in a good way instead of worring about me or how she can help me and my boys.
I really want to win this for my mama. I’m sure she’ll LOVE it!
My mom would LOVE this watch. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2008 and has been through so much since then – chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation treatments. Side effects of her treatments include losing her hair and being incredibly sick. Doctors say her prognosis is good and that she will be cured from her cancer!
She finishes her last radiation treatment on next week and this would be a perfect gift for her! She has been so strong and a true inspiration to me during this very difficult time.
